We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Natural Gas Wholesale Trader to join our team at Serilus Kft, a leading energy company based in Hungary. As a prominent player in the Hungarian natural gas market, we are looking for an individual with extensive knowledge and experience in trading natural gas within both the European and Hungarian wholesale gas markets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement trading strategies for natural gas in the European and Hungarian markets, ensuring profitability and risk management.
• Monitor market trends, analyze supply and demand dynamics, and identify potential trading opportunities.
• Execute natural gas trades, including spot and forward contracts, swaps, and options, while adhering to compliance and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize trading strategies, pricing models, and market intelligence.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including gas suppliers, transportation companies, and industry regulators.
• Stay updated with market news, geopolitical developments, and regulatory changes that may impact the natural gas trading landscape.
• Monitor and manage gas portfolio positions, including hedging strategies, risk assessments, and exposure analysis.
• Provide timely reports and analysis on trading activities, performance, and market insights to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Natural Gas Wholesale Trader, with a focus on the European and Hungarian markets.
• In-depth knowledge of the natural gas industry, including market fundamentals, pricing mechanisms, and trading strategies.
• Familiarity with European and Hungarian gas market regulations, contracts, and industry protocols.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data and identify trading opportunities.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in using trading software, risk management tools, and data analytics platforms.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Fluency in English and Hungarian is required; additional language skills are a plus.
